Privacy Policy

Crewfront ("Crewfront," "we," "us") builds and runs websites and front-office software for local service businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to crewfront.com, our preview links, our customer dashboard, and our text-message program.
Information we collect
- Information you give us — your business name, mobile number, website address, and email when you request a free redesign, sign up, or contact support.
- Public business information — details about your business that are already public, such as your website content and your Google Business Profile (services, hours, reviews, photos), which we use to build your redesign.
- Usage information — basic analytics about visits to preview links and our site (pages viewed, approximate time on page, browser type). We use this to know whether a preview was seen.
- Customer data — if you become a customer, the information you store in your dashboard (such as your own customer records) belongs to you. We process it only to provide the service.
How we use it
- To build and deliver your free homepage redesign and, if you sign up, your full website
- To send you the text messages described below
- To operate, support, and improve the service
- To process payments (handled by Stripe — we never store full card numbers)
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
Text messaging (SMS) program
When you submit your mobile number on crewfront.com, you consent to receive a text message from Crewfront with your free redesign link, and to reply-based conversation about it if you respond. If you become a customer, we may also text you about your account and service.
- Message frequency varies; typically one message with your redesign link, plus replies to your messages.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or email support@crewfront.com.
- We honor quiet hours and opt-outs immediately and permanently.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Who we share information with
- Service providers that help us run Crewfront: payment processing (Stripe), text messaging (Twilio), hosting and infrastructure (Vercel, Cloudflare, Supabase), and AI processing (Anthropic, OpenAI) used to generate website copy and imagery. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
- Legal requirements — if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights or users.
Data retention
We keep redesign-request information so we can honor opt-outs and avoid re-contacting you. Customer account data is kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymized on request after closure, except where we must retain it (for example, billing records).
Your choices
- Opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP.
- Ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing support@crewfront.com.
- Customers can export their website (it's portable HTML) and their data at any time.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards: encrypted connections (TLS) everywhere, access controls, and payment handling fully delegated to Stripe. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information accordingly.
Children
Crewfront is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy we'll update the effective date above and, for customers, notify you in the dashboard or by email.
